Baidu's Xiaodu Sets Sept 8 Launch for AI Displays, Speakers and Cameras Running Chaoneng Assistant

Baidu's Xiaodu smart-device unit teased a Sept 8, 2 p.m. Beijing-time launch event, unveiling new smart displays, Tiantian companion screens, smart speakers and cameras that will run the upgraded Chaoneng Xiaodu AI assistant, plus a second-generation AI monitoring agent for its cameras. The Chaoneng assistant was first rolled out last November as a free upgrade to tens of millions of existing Xiaodu devices in Baidu's ecosystem.
