TL;DR

  • US commercial revenue of $984M grew 148% YoY, topping US government revenue of $953M for the first time ever.
  • Palantir raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $8.530-$8.534 billion, equal to about 91% growth for the year.

Palantir's US commercial business brought in $984 million in the third quarter, more than its US government work for the first time in the company's history. The commercial line jumped 148% year over year; government grew 96% to $953 million. Total revenue nearly doubled to $2.31 billion, and net income more than doubled to $1.13 billion from $476 million a year earlier, CNBC reported.

CEO Alex Karp did not hedge the framing. 'I don't believe anyone's had consistent results like this in the history of software AI, ever,' he told CNBC.

The company raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to between $8.530 billion and $8.534 billion, equal to about 91% growth for the year, and lifted its US commercial guide to 'in excess of' $3.56 billion. Adjusted income-from-operations guidance was raised to between $5.245 billion and $5.249 billion. US commercial remaining deal value closed the quarter at $6.517 billion, up 79% year over year. Adjusted earnings came in at 44 cents a share against 41 cents expected; US revenue overall grew 119% to $1.937 billion.

Shares dipped about 3% in extended trading. For a stock priced for extraordinary growth, a beat and raise was the base case, not the surprise.

The press release and CNBC's recap do not break out the margin split between commercial and government, nor how much of the 148% commercial jump is new logos versus expansion inside existing accounts. Palantir has been a recurring name on our Palantir tracker through the fall, including last month's company pushback on a Bloomberg strike report.
