Tutor Intelligence closed a $75M Series B led by a16z, bringing total funding to $117M. The round backs continued training of its frontier robot foundation model and the manufacturing and deployment of 'Sonny' and 'Cassie' warehouse robots in the US. Tutor pre-trains robots in a 'classroom' environment before customer deployments, which it says cuts rollout from weeks to days; nearly a third of past-year customers are returning for more units.
