While pruning my Google Scholar profile, I noticed a "hallucinated" citation of an actual article of mine in an undergraduate dissertation at a university in the Czech Republic 🙃 Google needs to develop a way for authors to flag these issues to maintain the integrity of our profiles!

Interviewed with congressional offices over the past week, and hopefully, my biggest selling point is that I will bring a more objective understanding of AI capabilities to inform the legislative process. In one interview, I outright said: “I don’t believe in the concept of existential risk.” 🫡
Placed within my first choice Congressional office! Looking forward to what I’m sure will be an exciting year working on AI policy 🏛️🤖
I’ve made it back to Nigeria for Deep Learning Indaba! It’s been nice catching up with everyone so far in Lagos, and I look forward to what should be a busy, but exciting week ahead.
I'll be spending the next year as a Legislative AI Fellow within the AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowship! After researching and engaging in global AI governance over the past 4 years, it’s a privilege to have a rare opportunity to support AI legislation in Congress.

Transitioning from researching AI governance over the past four years to now being directly embedded in AI politics will be quite interesting!
