re:LRT; our disco cohort last year was thinking about writing a paper on "predatory inclusion" in terms of AI, race, and disability, and i'm kinda really sad it never panned out, cause i think we see claims to make AI more inclusive everywhere but really it's just a ploy for increased capture

idk i think there's something ironic about participating in a space that wants to make LLMs and generative AI better, but also not wanting LLMs and generative AI to affect your own work
my ungrounded prediction of the day: i think the economy will finally collapse in q4 of this year. and i don't think it'll be because of an ai bubble burst. got no evidence for this claim but it's kinda like a reading the tea leaves feeling...
hopefully all of this makes people realize that we're always being listened to, read, watched by, and fed to the AI systems
