if you're looking for a good overview for kids of issues around ai, this episode is really solid imo doesn't get lost in the weeds, explains the real ai pitch ("you don't have to think anymore!") but also hits environmental harms, accuracy problems, even how it's a bubble

are there any good language learning apps? my understanding is that duolingo sucks both bc it's gone ai and also bc it's focused more on engagement than actually helping you learn a language but are they all that way or are there good ones? (this is for a middle grade student learning spanish)
