Axios: Fed Chair Warsh Turns AI Task Force Led by Marc Andreessen and Raj Chetty Into Central-Bank Rewiring Effort

Axios reports Fed Chair Kevin Warsh is using his five newly formed task forces to 'rewire' the central bank around AI, with the AI panel co-led by a16z's Marc Andreessen, Stanford/Anthropic Institute economist Charles I. Jones and Microsoft/Xbox EVP Asha Sharma. A separate real-time-data task force — Raj Chetty, ex-Walmart CEO Doug McMillon and UChicago's Kevin Murphy — aims to replace lagging government statistics with retailer, bank and firm-level feeds.
