Accel closed a coordinated $3.5 billion global fundraise on Aug 11, comprising dedicated US, Europe and India funds plus a $1.35 billion growth vehicle for larger early-stage rounds and rapid follow-ons. The $550M India fund was oversubscribed and closed within weeks, with 55% of the prior India fund still undeployed.
