I only found this: arxiv.org/abs/2604.03136 Curious what the English dept would say about "transform[ing] each story into a template-based representation that preserves narrative elements while abstracting away surface wording" and the "taxonomy of narrative dimensions rooted …
- StoryScope hit 93.2% macro-F1 separating human from AI fiction using only narrative structure features, retaining over 97% of the version that added style cues.
- The study covered 61,608 stories of about 5,000 words each, drawn from 10,272 prompts written by one human and five different LLMs.

I'm going to be documenting every time a "leader" told me we need to get on board with "AI", because my question for them is: "you've demonstrated catastrophically poor professional and ethical judgment. How do you plan to make amends, and why should we trust anything you say?"
"AI"-enthusiast bsky right now is like "the orphan-crushing machine may crush a lot of orphans, but it also helped someone find a counterexample to a conjecture, so, it;s impossible to say if its bad or not"
So many of my IRL conversations about "AI" seem to involve people hoping that nobody will say things like "I don't think that's true" and "can you show me an example of what you mean?" because it'd be awkward Joke's on them though, I have aphantasia and literally can't picture the emperor's clothes
tfw someone responds to you with "AI" nonsense
