just took my cat to urgent care for a scary medical emergency and they were running some AI transcription software to automatically generate a visit note I fucking hate it here
the thing about having done most of my ethnographic research during the last, pre-genAI "AI revolution" (2015-2017) and watched the rise and fucked up fall of too many "digital psychiatry" startups is that i feel like i already know how the "new and improved" genAI versions of these startups will do
