I watched a netflix show last night where the hugging face emoji was a plot point..I'm glad to finally be able to be GenX enough to admit I've never been quite sure of it either.. (Fyi Vladimir. VG fluff for senior female academics but I actually really enjoyed it - tho as usual end sucks).
