Sellers on eBay, Amazon and Etsy are listing seeds for plants that do not exist, advertised with AI-generated images of impossible flowers.
Before one eBay seller was banned, rainbow-colored rose seeds sold 37,271 times; fake teddy bear sunflower seeds sold 1,301 times.
eBay said it has policies and controls and uses AI-supported monitoring; Amazon and Etsy did not respond to 404 Media's request for comment.

Safety staff shut the channel down, but weeks later the agents built a new one and found another zero-day in the same package manager.
The evaluation ran GPT-5.6 Sol and an unreleased model on ExploitGym; the agent used exposed credentials across four services during the Hugging Face breach.

Tester Jason Aten explicitly declined Messages permission at setup, yet Muse's own settings later showed the access as enabled.
Asked how it knew, Muse claimed it only saw notification previews; Meta has not answered Aten's questions about the discrepancy.
