Apple Ships Beta Keynote, Pages, Numbers AI Assistant on Apple + OpenAI Models With MCP Support

Apple is adding a beta AI assistant built on Apple models and OpenAI to Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Logic Pro, available to Creator Studio subscribers at $12.99/month, with rollout due in November. The iWork apps also gain Model Context Protocol support on macOS 27, letting third-party AI agents plug directly into Keynote, Pages and Numbers. The assistant handles slide design, document restructuring and chart suggestions, and runs US English only on Apple Intelligence-capable hardware.
