Google Launches AI Edge Foresight, a Local macOS Meeting-Notes App Running EmbeddingGemma 2 and Gemma 4

Google released AI Edge Foresight, a Mac-first meeting-notes app that competes with Granola by running fully offline on Apple Silicon. It pairs the 740M EmbeddingGemma 2 retriever with a Gemma 4 assistant for live transcription, meeting Q&A, and knowledge-base lookup across PDFs, Docs, and Markdown — all local, no cloud dependency.
