Meta Soft-Launches Style Sketch AI Fashion App in SE Asia

Meta has released Style Sketch, an AI fashion app, in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand on iOS and Android, TechCrunch reported after social media consultant Matt Navarra flagged the listing. The app connects to Instagram to pull a virtual closet from a user's posted photos, or accepts manual uploads by photo, video, or camera roll, then suggests outfit combinations and lets users try them on a "realistic model matched to your body shape and skin tone," per the app's own description.

Beyond the closet, Style Sketch layers in weather-aware suggestions and a trip planner that builds day-by-day outfits around a destination's forecast and scheduled activities. Meta declined to comment and has not said whether a wider rollout is planned. TechCrunch names Alta and Google Photos' digital closet among existing fashion-tech competitors.

The release lands two days after Meta soft-launched Waddle World, an AI pet-journal app, in the Philippines, part of a run of experimental consumer apps alongside Pocket and Vibes.
