UK Culture Secretary Nandy Moves to Force Apple and Google to Block Nude Images on Kids' Devices

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy told the House of Commons Tuesday that the UK will legislate to require Apple and Google to stop children from taking, sharing or viewing nude images — including AI-generated nudification-app output — on their phones and tablets. Apple and Google had been given a three-month ultimatum in June to build on-device detection.
