Apropos increasing incidents of AI psychosis, I’ve been thinking a lot of a schema once suggested by the late novelist Robert Anton Wilson: The idea that human reasoning can usefully be thought of as a Thinker and a Prover.
Finally got around to skimming “The Serpent in the Grove” & the AI controversy seems to have overshadowed the more basic question: “How was twaddle like this awarded a prestigious literary prize?” It reads like a parody of literary fiction.
