Anthropic publie un preprint décrivant Array-Associated Reverse Transcriptases (ART), un système enzymatique proche de CRISPR trouvé chez les bactériophages, premier résultat du wet lab lancé au printemps 2026. Environ 950 agents Claude ont analysé les bases publiques pendant 21 heures et 210 millions de tokens avant l'annonce du 23 septembre. Le système comporte une transcriptase inverse, un gène partenaire et un réseau de répétitions ADN suggérant un potentiel programmable.
