Everyone is calling for “AI regulation” when IP recognition and actual enforcement of human rights is what is needed POLICY “experts” are rewarding these people with a promise to debate the rights of others AFTER THEY HAVE ALREADY STOLEN
They found more CSAM on Meta and I am losing my mind because they keep portraying it as AI But it’s a trust and safety issue And it’s one that directly relates to the taxonomic programming of AI and failed project management And yes how they categorize misogyny
Also considering everyone has decided without Black people that AAVE and diasporic patois are “internet slang” how many AI’s are r primed to believe that anything written in flowing AAVE is stolen from “the internet”
Claude and other AI’s words were trained by Kenyan/ Nigerian/ Ghanaian people and there are known linguistic carry through to AAVE and multiple Caribbean Patois and dialects So are Black writers sounding like AI or is AI being used to punish the people who make it and keep them from benefitting
Part of the reason I’m anti AI Is I can’t imagine that people live lives so sad and boring they’d RUN to AI instead of living them if they have any kids of money/ game The family/ friends I’ve built alone are far more interesting Plus Sex …. EXISTS

I know the AI media campaign is succeeding because our entire conversation is around “Big Tech” and shifts the responsibility of infrastructure to the individual
I am loathe to pick up on gendered tech convos … But if we’re gonna talk about women and what the would do with the “female gaze and AI” … We have to take about how women aren’t picking up certain AI is because it’s impossible to do teh female gaze for mass audience sans consent
