- A Common Sense Media survey of 1,314 US teens aged 13-17 found nearly 50% had encountered content they believed to be AI-generated sexual material.
- About 40% of surveyed teens responded by making social accounts private, limiting shares, or deleting accounts entirely, and 67% worried about being victimized.
- Roughly 8% of teens admitted creating AI-generated sexual content, and more than 60% of those creators targeted people they personally knew.
