I don’t think this is fair. There are LOTS of mainstream scientists doing a great job of talking about “actual evolutionary analysis” of humans. @ewanbirney.bsky.social, Director of EBI, is one of my favorites, check out, say arxiv.org/pdf/2106.10041 or ewanbirney.com/2019/10/…

This paper was entertaining, and even mildly reassuring. Major effect of GenAI on cybercrime? Not effective new hacking tools or reduced barriers to entry among noobs, but that tech layoffs drive more skilled coders to crime. arxiv.org/pdf/2603.29545
