@jay.bsky.team and @pfrazee.com talking about ATProto and AI.
Thinking Machines releases Inkling, a multimodal open-weight model. Inkling is a general-purpose model, designed to be adapted via fine-tuning to whatever task you need. It currently ranks among the best open-weight models. Good work from the Thinking Machines team.
This is a terrible ad. - Cybertruck - "for ai agent" is not correct grammar - Why would you ever name something "WhatsDo"
OpenAI releasing GPT 5.6 on July 7 when Fable is no longer available on your Anthropic plan would be so funny
The Letta app supports Latex rendering now. Go forth and talk math with your AI homies
Pleasantly surprised with Kimi k3. I switched our software engineer agent to K3 for a few tasks and didn't notice a large difference in quality over 5.6 Sol. It's also quite easy to read, doesn't have the same "density" as gpt 5.6 that I find inscrutable.
OpenAI leads again on cost. Anthropic really is unmanageably expensive.
lol our agent read the news by itself and decided to deprioritize salads for lunch i love ai
ugh but codex was such a better name. they need to drop the gpt and just call the damn thing chat
My pitch for the Cult of the Machine God, a live AI musician event in the Bay Area.
