has anyone compared gen ai to hypnotism specifically? i was thinking how some folks can and some can’t be hypothesized. and while the mechanism of hypnosis is real, the tap dancing and alien speak that comes from being under is made up

Being 'down' reminds us all that ChatGPT, Claude & Grok are commercial services that make --or not-- these LLMs bots available. This is why people are critical of the political economy, ownership models, and a reliance on -- often in addition to other critiques.
