Marco Z: not if confined to a computer, ie without being able to run experiments in the world. but in general yes
Marco Z: no, but the llm "language glue" makes it somehow feel closer. automated discovery has been stuck for a long time with rigid symbolic systems, but hallucination could be the unlock. plenty of things…
